Our surf community in Barcelona has over 600 women. We create a safe and welcoming space where women can learn, grow, and enjoy surfing. We promote confidence and empowerment through trips, classes, and workshops, as well as events and meetups open to all.

At Les Noies del Medi, we organize a variety of events and services aimed at our community of women, with the goal of offering authentic experiences close to the sea lifestyle and board sports.

Our name
Les Noies del Medi, The Girls of the Medi(terranean), we owe it to Rafa (Oliversframe), who always captures the perfect moment in the water. Rafa started posting a series of photos of Bea, Mery, and other women surfing in the Medi with the title ‘Les Noies del Medi’.
LOGO
In February 2023, Bea and Mery went to Morocco in search of perfect waves and met Othmane, the guy who spent the whole day smiling and making bracelets, and who became their companion between surf sessions. They left Imsouane with full hearts and a message from him saying they had a gift for them next time they returned. The wooden fin, inspired by their surf sessions in Morocco, was one of the best surprises they had and inspired them to create the logo of Les Noies del Medi.
